Our philosophy:
Yoga gear with a difference.

Andrea Vidal created Pure Practice in 2010 after starting hot yoga classes and noticing that her studio struggled to keep their yoga mats clean and smelling good.

Andrea spent a year researching yoga mats and discovered they were the perfect breeding ground for bacteria- and therefore the perfect incubator for many of our skin infections and illnesses. Andrea also discovered that it was possible to create a hygienic yoga mat that eliminated bacteria and bad smells and that’s how The Pure Mat™ - Pure Practice’s first product - was created.

The pioneer of the science-led, ecofriendly yoga gear category, Pure Practice has since added to its range with The Pure Towel™ – an antibacterial, ecofriendly yoga towel made with recycled plastic bottles.

Products that solve problems

Andrea works on her unique products with a team of leading microbiologists, chemists and fitness product manufacturers. Pure Practice applies advanced research to develop products which - being antibacterial - are healthier for the user and -  being ecofriendly - are healthier for the planet.

Believing that movement is the cornerstone of wellbeing, Andrea is passionate about enabling people to exercise more, using products developed by her that put hygiene first and remove the discouraging concerns people have about the cleanliness of yoga mats and towels.

Twelve years, thousands of customers and one pandemic later, Pure Practice is still going strong. We love what we do and we look forward to a future in which we continue to make yoga gear that delivers peace of mind.

Pure Practice
is delighted to partner with CHOOSE LOVE

The support of refugees is an issue close to my heart. As a 17 year old boy, at the end of the Second World War, my father found himself displaced in Poland. Australia took him in, offering him the chance to establish a new life.

Pure Practice has chosen to partner with Choose Love, a non-profit organisation that has raised millions to support refugees and created a movement of people putting love into action around the world. It provides refugees and displaced people with everything from emergency medical care, to food and legal advice.

So far this year, Pure Practice, along with our community, has funded 10 Survival bundles, providing items like hot food, sleeping bags, nappies and emergency housing to displaced people around the world.

Thank you for helping us achieve this goal.
