It's important to ensure your practice is as safe as possible and that you always use common sense to guide your yoga towel use. Here are some practical tips:

1. Before starting your hot yoga session, unfold the hot yoga towel and lay it over your yoga mat, ensuring it covers the entire surface area.
2. Ensure that the towel is placed securely on the mat without any wrinkles or folds to provide a smooth surface for your practice.
3. Throughout your hot yoga session, use the towel to absorb sweat and prevent slipping, especially during poses that require a firm grip on the mat.
4. Pat dry any excess sweat from your body using the towel to maintain traction and prevent slipping.
5. If needed, reposition the towel during your practice to ensure it stays in place and continues to provide adequate coverage.
6. Clean the towel after use: After your yoga session, remove the towel from the mat and hang it up to dry or put it in the washing machine to clean. Regular cleaning will help maintain the towel’s grip and absorbency. Avoid using fabric softeners or harsh chemicals like bleach, as they can affect the absorbency and performance of the towel.
