Our yoga mats are made to last. In fact, we are still practicing on the yoga mats from our very first “The Pure Mat” production run 15 years ago.

Bear in mind that lifespan can vary with use, sweat, or skin pH even. To keep your yoga mat in its best shape, follow its care instructions and keep away from sharp objects.

The Pure Towel has an in-built antibacterial and antifungal shield. This shield means that the towel kills germs, bad odours and mould. The Pure Towel is also partially made using recycled plastic bottles and its material is endorsed by the Global Recycling Standard.

The Pure Mat

1. Using a damp cloth wipe down both sides of the mat weekly.
2. Once a month, just before wiping down with a damp cloth, use a soft brush and a small amount of soap to lightly brush both sides of the mat.
3. Always allow the mat to completely dry before rolling up.

Taking care of the mat will prevent the accumulation of dirt and oils which can cause loss of grip and diminish the mat’s antibacterial defence.

The Grip Mat

1. Wipe down with a damp cloth as needed.
2. After wiping down allow to fully air dry.
3. Avoid submerging in water or using soap or harsh chemicals.
4. Keep out of direct sunlight.
5. Store in a preferably cool, ventilated, dry space

Wash separately before using. Wash in cold water. Hang to dry (recommended) or tumble dry on low. Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
